What is the difference between Compressed Sawdust Briquettes and Logs?

Compressed Sawdust Briquettes burn most efficiently in closed stoves, giving off more heat and will last longer than any other wood. The logs are larger and can be used for all types of fires.

How long do the Briquettes last?

It depends on the stove and how you maintain the fire but one Briquette will last approximately one hour. Each 10 kg packet contains 12 Briquettes.

I would like to buy 20 bags but I do not have the space to store them. How can you help me?

You could buy 20 bags or more and ask us to deliver them in smaller loads so that you would only have to store what is convenient for you.

Yes, we deliver and stack the wood wherever you need.

Why should I clean my chimney?

Burning wood, especially when it isn’t dried sufficiently, leaves dangerous deposits in the chimney which reduce the efficiency and could potentially cause a chimney fire! Therefore it is important to remove these deposits.

We find it difficult to get our fire going. What could the problem be?

This could be caused by many things; using unseasoned wood, a dirty chimney, not starting it well etc. When we deliver we will be more than happy to light the fire and help you with any queries.

Can I buy 10 sacks of mixed, logs and briquettes and still get a cheaper price?

Yes, since the prices of our logs and briquettes are the same you can mix any amount of each type and we will consider the total amount and offer you our best price. Moreover, if you are making an order and would like us to deliver in lots you can decide which type of wood you would like at any point.

I don’t want to have to carry sacks of wood, is it possible for you to stack the logs for me?

We can either deliver the Oak and Ash logs in sacks or as loose pieces which we will stack wherever you require them.
